We have put together an incentive package for new employees which is designed to appeal especially to people who value home ownership.

You should know that all job arrangements are made strictly between you and the employer. While Wichita County Economic Development, Inc. is sponsoring the information and incentive program, we take no role in negotiating job arrangements. Our participation is limited to making your application or resume available for the employers to take action at their discretion.

The Homestead Opportunities for Promising Employees, or HOPE Program, consists of:

Cash incentives of up to $1,000 or more to new employees who gain full-time employment and relocate to Wichita County. Employer and employee must enroll in the program. Employer's portion of cash incentive may be paid anytime during the 1st 12 months of employment. Wichita County Economic Development, Inc.'s portion of the cash incentive will be paid upon completion and verification of the 1st year of employment and residence.
Home Down Payment Assistance is available to qualified employees who desire homeownership. Wichita County Economic Development, Inc. will provide an interest-free loan (0%) up to $10,000 which can be used for 50% of the down payment and closing costs on the purchase of a home in Wichita County. Loan can not exceed 10% of the purchase price. The applicant/borrower must provide for 50% of the down payment and closing costs, or a 1:1 match to the 0% loan. Loan will be at a term of 10 years with monthly payments. Applicant/borrower eligibility may be subject to other conditions including approval of credit. The applicant/borrower must be a resident of the home. The applicant/borrower must be relocating to Wichita County and be employed full-time in Wichita County.
Wichita County Economic Development, Inc. is available to provide community tours, and provide housing and other information. We want to help you make your relocation to Wichita County as easy as possible.
