Wind Turbine Technician
We are seeking to fill numerous temporary and temp to hire positions at the Central Plains Wind Project located in Leoti, KS for the installation of wind turbines with a target employment date of October 1 thru December 2008. Turbine experience is a plus but not a requirement. Job duties will include the following but are not limited to:

Mechanical and electrical completion of turbines

Participation in assembly and de-rigging of cranes
Job Requirements:

Must be able to work in heights

Able to follow directions

40+ hours a week

Possible night shift

Be capable of working outdoors, possibly under inclement weather conditions

Permanent Wind Farm Employment Opportunities
Service Technician
This position diagnoses & troubleshoots electrical, mechanical & hydraulic malfunctions, performs scheduled maintenance & general service on wind turbines. Position requires 2+ years electrical, mechanical or hydraulic diagnosis & repair experience, basic computer skills & a valid driver's license w/ and insurable driving record. The ability to climb ladders to heights of 60-100 meters & work in confined spaces with diverse environmental conditions is required.
Office/Inventory Coordinator
This position is responsible for overseeing administrative and inventory functions for the site. Specific responsibilities include tracking service activity, and maintaining onsite records of billable work against warranties, overseeing onsite inventory storage, tracking inventory and maintaining consumption reports and forecasting inventory needs for the site. Requirements for this position include 2-3 years general office, inventory and/or warehouse experience, familiarity with general bookkeeping and inventory administration and strong computer, organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
